The Code of Ethics is a written framework that defines how association members are required to conduct themselves and, through its written principles, help individual members arrive at decisions when faced with conflicting demands. The Code of Ethics is of central importance when it comes to defining what it means to be a professional.
It is expected that every association member will be familiar with the intent and contents of the Code of Ethics. The Code of Ethics is covered in greater detail in the Ethics section of this manual.
