The Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC) is the professional association representing technologists and technicians in British Columbia.

The origins of ASTTBC go back to 1958 and the formation of the Society of Architectural and Engineering Technologists of BC (SAETBC, later SETBC). The organization was renamed ASTTBC when it became incorporated under the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians Act (ASTT Act) in 1985 as a self-governing professional association.

All prospective and active members of ASTTBC need to be familiar with the ASTTBC Act and Regulations and in particular understand the Definition and Scope of Practice as defined in Section 4.

ASTTBC has since expanded its mandate to certify members in sixteen technology disciplines and eight special certifications across the broad field of applied science. As of 2011 there were over 9,500 ASTTBC members and registrants.

ASTTBC's Mission, Vision and Goals can be viewed on the ASTTBC web site.
